Website and enquiry terms

These terms cover your use of hearingtestssouthendonsea.co.uk and any enquiry you send through it. The site is run by Hearing Tests South Endonsea, and by using it, or by sending an enquiry, you accept these terms.

The purpose of this website

Hearing tests We're not the specialist firm that performs the test, and we don't carry out any hearing assessment, fitting or treatment ourselves.

Permitted use of our content

Feel free to browse this site and print off a page for your own personal reference. Everything you see here, the text, images, layout and underlying code, belongs to Hearing Tests South Endonsea or to those who have licensed it to us; copying it for publication, framing it elsewhere, scraping it, or putting it to any other misuse isn't permitted.

Nature of the information provided

Hearing tests Everything written here is general background on hearing tests, not a personal assessment of your hearing, and it's no substitute for actually seeing a specialist.

Submitting an enquiry

There's no charge for filling in our enquiry form, and nothing you send through it creates a contract between you and us. Your enquiry, with the details you gave, is passed to one specialist firm covering the area you told us about, so that they can contact you about it. They use it only to answer your enquiry and to arrange any visit or work you agree with them, and from that point they are responsible for how they handle it. We do not pass your details to anyone else for their own use. From there, any hearing test, assessment or work you arrange is a matter between you and the specialist, carried out under their own terms and conditions. The specialist may pay us when we pass the enquiry on. You pay us nothing, and you are free to get quotes from anyone else. Nothing stops you from asking other providers for a hearing test as well, before or after you enquire with us.

Responsibility for specialist services

Once a specialist takes on your enquiry, they answer for their own assessment, advice, any quotation and the work itself, including any guarantee attached to it. If a problem arises with what they've done, tell them first, though we're happy to hear about it as well.

No warranty on site content

We do our best to keep the information on this site correct and the site itself up and running, but we can't promise either, and we may alter, add to or take down any part of it at any time.

Scope of our liability

To the extent the law permits, we limit our liability to you, though not for death or personal injury caused by our own negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law won't let us exclude. If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms takes away the rights the law gives you, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Third-party links

Any link from this site to somewhere else takes you off our site entirely; we don't run those destinations, and a link isn't us vouching for what's there.

Amendments to these terms

These terms might be updated occasionally, and whatever's published here at the time is what applies. Updating them won't change anything about an enquiry you've already sent us.

Applicable law and jurisdiction

These terms, and any dispute arising from them, are governed by the law of the place where we're established. If you're a consumer, you can also bring a claim in the courts of the country where you live.

Raising concerns

Got a question about these terms, or something to complain about? The contact page is where to reach us. If you complain to us about how we have handled your personal information, we acknowledge it within 30 days and reply as soon as we can.
